How to Get Here
By Train
Nearest station:
Ennis Railway Station on Station Road, Ennis – about a 10-minute walk or a short taxi to the club
- From Dublin: Take an Irish Rail service from Dublin Heuston to Limerick/Ennis (some services may require a change at Limerick or Athenry). Then alight at Ennis
- From Galway: There are direct intercity or regional trains between Galway and Ennis (check Irish Rail timetables)
- From Cork: You’ll need to travel via Limerick Junction or Limerick and connect to a service to Ennis
On arrival at Ennis Station:
- 25 minute walk to Golf Links Road via Station Road and Drumbiggle Road
- Alternatively take a short taxi to the club entrance
By Bus
Arriving into Ennis:
- Bus Éireann and TFI Local Link provide frequent services to Ennis Bus Station and town stops from major cities including Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Shannon Airport area
- Common routes include Bus Éireann 300, 330/330X, 331, 335 and 350 with stops at Ennis Friars Walk, Ennis Bóthar Na Trócaire and near Ennis station
From the bus stop to Ennis Golf Club:

From major routes:
Ennis Railway Station on Station Road, Ennis – about a 10-minute walk or a short taxi to the club
- From Limerick: Take the M18 motorway northbound, then exit toward Ennis/N85 and follow local signs to Golf Links Road
- From Galway: Join the M18 southbound and exit at Ennis/N85
- From Shannon Airport: It’s around a 20–25 minute drive via the N19/M18 into Ennis and then onto Golf Links Road

Tee times can be booked online 8 days in advance through our website. For bookings beyond this time please contact the office directly. Members can book through the members’ booking system.
4. What are your green fees?
Our green fees vary depending on the time of year. Please visit our Green Fees page or contact the Pro Shop/Office for the most up-to-date rates.
5. Do you offer society or group bookings?
Yes, we cater for societies and group outings throughout the year. Visit or Societies & Classics page for Society rates. Contact the office on 065-6824074 for Classic Rates.
6. Is equipment hire available?
Yes, we offer buggy hire, trolley hire and club hire. Availability may be limited, so we recommend booking in advance.
7. Do you have a dress code?
We ask all players to follow standard golf attire on the course. Golf shoes and appropriate golf clothing are required. Smart casual dress is appreciated in the clubhouse.
8. Are golf lessons available?
Yes, lessons are available with our PGA Professional Martin Ward for all levels, from beginners to experienced players.
9. Does the clubhouse have dining facilities?
Yes, our clubhouse offers food and refreshments for members and visitors. Opening hours may vary seasonally.
10. How do I become a member?
We offer a range of membership categories to suit different ages. For details on current rates and availability, please visit our Membership page or contact us directly.
11. Are there practice facilities available?
Yes, members and visitors can make use of our practice facilities, which include putting green & practice nets.
12. Do you host competitions and events?
Yes, we run a full calendar of competitions for members throughout the year, as well as open competitions and special events.
Standard of Dress
Conventional Golf Dress and Golf Shoes must be worn at all times. Trouser legs must never be tucked into socks.
On The Golf Course
The following items of dress are not permitted at any time on the
- Singlets, vests, sun tops, leggings or shirts more suited to other sports
- Untailored shorts
- Sweaters without shirts
- Garments displaying slogans
- Track or Leisure suits – except when used as wet gear
- Trainer shoes or runners
In The Clubhouse
Smart casual dress is essential in the clubhouse. It must be clean, neat and tidy and in keeping with the high standards of the clubhouse.
Any type of footwear or headgear worn on the course is not acceptable in the clubhouse.
